We offer (at timing that suits us only), tours of Fancyleaf for interested persons or groups. These tours are not free as our time is far too valuable, and they are not a de-facto consultancy service either. That is, specific growing advice will not be given, but a broad overview of hydroponics and the systems used at Fancyleaf will be gained.
Because of the innovation used at Fancyleaf, and the speed with which we manage to grow crops, we have international interest in our tours.
One such group is Student Educational Tours Australia, who arrange tours for American and Japanese special interest and research groups. You can find them at http://www.setaqld.com.au/2008/index.html. They appear to have a group of farmers and agricultural students taking advantage of our tours early next year.
Local individuals who wish to take advantage of this offer will need to contact us to see when we might have some available, and to make remittance arrangements. The fee will depend on the timing of tour and the number of individuals who wish to visit at any one time.
