This device was invented by Bill Calder who has a couple of teenage children. Like teenagers anywhere, they seemed to have a brain block when hearing the words “get out of the bloody shower”. So Bill decided to do something about it.
This device turns off the hot water when the kids have been in the shower for the time you have programmed.
What makes this device unique is that it is independently programmable for each household user.
Each user has a 4 digit pin, usually part of their mobile phone number, or something they can easily remember. They can enter this once a day to receive their allocated time (in minutes) of hot water. And no, it cannot be hacked as there are no communication methods to “talk” to it.
